  Good food but HORRIBLE customer service. Our waitress was named floy or ploy she was so rude, looked very unprofessional, and though the food was good she made the experience bad. Will not come here again.

  I believe this is one of the best Thai restaurants in Charlotte. And, despite being mostly based on Thai cuisine, they have pretty good sushi too! I was surprised at first, because often when you have a restaurant trying to serve two completely different Asian cuisines, neither is done well. That's not the case with DeeJai. One of my favorite places.

  The restaurant was in a good proximity to downtown but the parking wasn't spacious and will surely get filled up quickly during peak hours. The restaurant was a little too dimly lit and the restaurant didn't seem much spacious. Lot of little tables and small chairs seemed to be cramped together and the tables were so close that you could literally hear the other table. The interiors weren't too exquisite but just a couple of Buddha paintings and other Thai art. There was also a sushi bar and again, I found it confined too.
  
  The menu was a one page menu but even now I wonder why they printed them in black. Added to the extremely dim lighting, It was an arduous task to read through the items. We came in for dinner and ordered some starters and our main course. I went for a wok dish - pad prik. All their food were tasting great. They were of good quantity and extremely delicious.
  
  The only downside I found was the restaurant was a tad costlier for the ambience they provide. And the places was too compact and crammed. As soon as I finished my tasty food, I was glad to get running outside to get fresh air!

  Our visit to Dejai Thai on 3/9 was not good. Took 40 min for Sushi to come as an appetizer. Main course dinner entrees were reheated and served. We did not enjoy the dinner.
