  I had the Charlotte burger and broasted mixed veggies; well done. It was great to have an outlet at my booth. Needed a charge!

  Expected better. Thought food would have been more like a restaurant than airport food. The chicken strips were worthless and the pizza was mediocre at best. The beer was awesome, so I'd come back just for drinks and place to rest my bones.

  Good service, cool atmosphere, decent food. The hostess and waiter were very nice and prompt. The food, however, left room for improvement. I tried the Shrimp & Grits, which was served with a Tabasco cream sauce. I love spicy, but there was too much of the sauce and nothing in the dish to properly balance out the acidity of the Tabasco. The market area offers pre-packaged sandwiches, fruit, and other snacks so I opted to grab a container of fresh cut strawberries on the way out.The strawberries were clearly a few hours away from going bad as they were mushy, and slightly brown... a complete waste of money. While I didn't try any of their cocktails while there, I'd assume that an alcoholic beverage and a more snacky option served in the restaurant area would be some of the safer options. At the end of the day, this is probably some of the best airport food most will encounter.

  Lots of space in this market + restaurant - a bit cluttered for my taste, but we had a decent meal here (salad with beets and goat cheese was good). Bloody Mary was spicy, which I liked, but also kind of smoky- or chipotle-y... but a good spot if you have time to kill at CLT.
  
  (Update: I just revised my review to give 4 instead of 3 stars because I just learned that this place has OYSTERS (from NC)- I'm eating them now- delicious. I also ordered roasted vegetables- and I'm thrilled with this variety on an airport restaurant menu. PLUS, they have soccer on the television- gotta love that (if you happen to like soccer). I always fly out of A gates (Delta), and this place is much better than what can be found further down.
